The Ayung River is Bali's longest river, and its upper gorge offers one of the best white-water rafting experiences in Southeast Asia: 9 kilometres of jungle-lined rapids, hidden waterfalls, carved cliff faces, and cool, clean water rushing between canyon walls. The rafting is accessible to beginners and thrilling enough for experienced paddlers.
After the river, we continue to Bali Zoo — home to orangutans, Sumatran tigers, and exotic reptiles in a beautifully designed tropical setting — and then Bali Bird Park, where over 1,000 birds from across the Indonesian archipelago live in lush walk-through aviaries. It's an ideal combination for adventure seekers and wildlife lovers of all ages.

Private vehicle picks you up from your hotel and drives you to the Ayung River starting point near Ubud.
Ayung River — Equipment & Safety Briefing
Arrive at the rafting basecamp. Collect helmets, life vests, and paddles. Your guide gives a thorough safety briefing before you launch.
Ayung River Rafting (2 hours)
Navigate 9 km of white-water rapids through a spectacular river gorge lined with tropical jungle, cascading waterfalls, and ancient carved cliff faces. Suitable for beginners.
Shower & Change
Use the basecamp shower facilities to freshen up. Light refreshments provided.
Bali Zoo
Explore Bali Zoo where you can get up close to orangutans, Sumatran tigers, pythons, and many more fascinating animals in a beautifully landscaped tropical environment.
Lunch Break
Stop for lunch at a local restaurant (own expense).

Is hotel pickup included?
Yes — every tour includes complimentary pickup and drop-off from your accommodation in the Seminyak, Canggu, Kuta, Sanur, or Ubud area. For hotels outside these zones we can arrange transfer for a small surcharge.
How do I pay for the tour?
You pay in cash (USD or IDR) directly to your guide on the day of the tour. No advance payment, no booking deposit, no online fees. If you prefer bank transfer or Wise, just mention it in your WhatsApp message.
What is your cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your tour starts, no questions asked. If weather or a family emergency comes up on the day, just let us know — we will reschedule at no cost.
Are your guides certified and English/Russian speaking?
Yes. All of our guides are licensed by the Indonesian tourism board and were born and raised in Bali. Every guide speaks fluent English, and the majority also speak Russian.
Are the tours suitable for children and older travellers?
Yes — most of our tours are family-friendly and we regularly host guests aged 4 to 75. Rafting has an age limit of 7+. Let us know the age range in your WhatsApp message and we will tailor the pace and stops accordingly.
